Brownish-red shades with gold centre. Grow in cold greenhouse or plant outside in cool, moist, well-drained soil. Height 15 cm. Flowers April. Evergreen. Rosettes of broad fleshy leaves, clump forming. Flowers are usually flat-faced with deep colour fading towards the edge.
