A very unusual plant for the woodland or semi shaded garden. Interesting pale lilac-pink small, almost gypsophila-like flowers over large Hydrangea-like leaves during late summer. 45cm (18''). Supposed to be herbaceous but in a rich, moist, well drained woodland soil and dappled shade, away from strong winds it may well be shrubby. Height 60cm+ (2'+)
