This variety has spires of large pendulous bell-like flowers, in a rich deep purplish-blue. Easily grown, preferring a well drained sunny site, it is a welcome sight. Height 60 cm (24") June - Sep. A plant that soon forms quite large clumps, making quite a statement in the cottage garden.
