A collection from the wooded valleys of Nepal where it was clinging to vertical cliffs. This lovely plant has distinctly patterned rough textured hand-like leaves with silver and brown markings - a very distinct species. Large pale pink flowers emerge from red bristly buds over a long period. Grows to a height of 45-60cm. Best in a moisture retentive, sheltered, well drained soil in semi shade. Mulch to protect the rhizomes from frost. Could be named incorrectly.
