A rather beautiful and elegant Aster with clouds of pretty small white daisies borne en masse . Generally self-supporting forming a rounded bush which remains well clothed with foliage. Prefers a moist well drained site where it will bridge the gap between the summer and autumn flowering Asters. July-Sept. Height 1,2m (4'). Mildew free. Excellent for bees and other insects. If you are looking for a tall Michaelmas Daisy then this one could be it! Forming large clumps the dark stems are complimented by masses of almost fluorescent violet-blue daisies, each with a yellow eye that ages to reddish pink giving a rather spectacular show. Easy and reliable, free from mildew this takes some beating. Height 1.2m, September onwards.
