Description
A very unusual plant with large sprays of pretty small blue ‘Borage-like’ flowers emerge in Feb or March, borne before the large leaves emerge in Feb or Mar. Prefers a site with good soil in sun or partial shade it is un assuming & easy, soon covering quite large areas. Height and spread 60cm (2′). This is a wild collected form from the Afghan town of Bamian. It differs slightly from the species being lower and a touch paler.
