Description
Can be planted in very early spring or even earlier indoors.Plant: 13cm/5″ apart.Perfect for salads when pulled young or for pickling. Mild flavour. Good Yield.An application of a general fertiliser in May will encourage growth.Harvest when ready for spring onions or from from July onwards for pickling.Ideally shallots should be planted on a new site each year to prevent pests and diseases.
