Description
A nice form of leucophylla. This interesting plant has an elongated lid making it slightly different from the norm. As with all in this group they are at their best in the autumn when the later pitchers appear, these are sectacular in form being white with green veining. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
