Description
If you fancy something unusual in the Sarracenia world then this is for you. Very reminiscent of ‘Medusa’ you can imagine a head full of green snakes. The pitchers are beautifuilly spreading giving a low growing wide yet mounded plant. Vigorous and exciting this is one fore the collectors. A hybrid of unknown parentage bred here on the nursery. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
