Description

A low growing Sarracenia hybrid that is fairly quick to spread. Easy and reliable the copious number of pitchers are an attractive golden bronze with low overhanging lids and dark veins. Good through to the autumn this is a lovely rather showy little plant. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill.
