Description
A stunning leucophylla hybrid worthy of any Sarracenia collection, Large pitchers, white with green veins, are best in the latter half of the year. Upright or ‘floppy’ this plant is a must. Height 30-60cm (12-24″). Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Medium sized fresh division.
