Description
A rather beautiful plant from the Carnivore King Les Burdett. Named after his wife it is lovely thing with tall pitchers, heavily veined. The inner lid is a beautiful shade of maroon combining well with a dark lip. All in all a good plant. Prefers a sunny site in usual Sarracenia conditions. 30-60cm. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. This plant is divided to order, the plant you receive will be a large division bare rooted.
