Description
Another truly beautiful hybrid. Pitchers are green at the bottom reddening as they go up with deep reddish pink tops and upright hoods that are flecked with white (of leucophylla origin) giving a stunning combination. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
