Description
An interesting bushy hybrid from Adrian Slack. Pitchers are green with slight red veining, the hoods being upright and wide. Impressive, rather strange dark pink flowers, held high, are borne in spring. A good hardy hybrid. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
