Rostrinucula dependens, commonly known as Weeping Rostrinucula, is an unusual small to medium-sized shrub native to parts of China. This distinctive plant typically reaches heights of 1.5-2.5 metres when fully mature, developing an attractive arching habit that gives it its weeping common name. The graceful, pendulous branches create an elegant silhouette in the garden landscape.

Once established, this remarkable shrub becomes covered in masses of pendulous pale pink flowers during late summer, creating a spectacular display. The delicate blooms hang gracefully from the arching branches, providing valuable nectar sources that prove particularly popular with bees and butterflies, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.
