We are very pleased to be able to offer these heritage varieties. This lovely small to medium roundish pear has a taste like no other. It has an aromatic, spiced and slightly tart flavour with white flesh and brownish skin borne late in the year ususally October – November. Kept correctly they will store until April. Originally from France in 1768. In 40 years we have never been able to ghet these and they may well be a ‘one year only’ product, especially at this price. Needs pollinator.
