Description
Available from 11 June
Nepeta ‘Blue Prelude’ is a refined and early-flowering catmint variety, prized for its soft, aromatic foliage and graceful, upright habit. It produces spires of periwinkle-blue flowers from late spring through summer, attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Unlike many Nepetas, ‘Blue Prelude’ has a more compact, clump-forming shape, making it ideal for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. Its grey-green, slightly fuzzy leaves release a pleasant scent when brushed. Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Reaching around 40–60cm in height, this elegant perennial brings long-lasting colour, fragrance, and wildlife appeal to garden spaces from early in the season.
