Description

‘Sacred Chinese Bamboo’. A spectacular new dwarf variety with deep wine red new shoots. these gradually fade to fresh green leaves which give an attractive oriental feel to the garden. These deepen as autumn approaches to a deep purple green. Large panicles of quite small flowers are sometimes followed by orange red berries amongst colourful autumn leaves. Prefers a sunny site. Height 60cm (2′)
