Description

A rather special grass that can either be grown at the front of the border as a ‘see-through’ plant or at the back to add height. It creates a broad, tufted, upright plant. The slender, mid-green leaves turn a beautiful shade gold in autumn as do the sprays of soft-purple flowers, which persist right through the winter. Height 90cm (3′). Prefers a sunny well drained spot.
