Description
A selected seedling from a collection from Mount Unzen in Japan. This stunningly coloured lacecap Hydrangea is a small and very floriferous form that has strong blue flowers, the florets deepen with age to become a cool blue (Pink in alkaline conditions) and purplish cast to the leaves, especially if grown in full sun. Height 1.3m (4′) in 10 years. Prefers a moisture retentive soil in sun or semi shade. Very Unusual.
