Hoya sigillatis is a stunning epiphytic climbing plant native to Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand and Malaysia. This vigorous grower can reach impressive heights of 2-3 metres when provided with adequate support, making it an excellent choice for training up moss poles or trellises. Culturally, this hoya thrives in bright, indirect light and well-draining, chunky potting mix. It prefers temperatures between 18-26°C with high humidity levels of 60-80%. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, allowing excess water to drain freely. During active growth periods, feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half strength. The plant benefits from a winter rest period with reduced watering and cooler temperatures. Propagation is easily achieved through stem cuttings in spring or summer.
