An amazing artificial sweetener. It has most of the properties of sugar but has zero calories and is not metabolised by the body. Can be eaten fresh or dried as a sugar substitute. Prefers a sunny well drained site where it will grow quickly and easily. Stevia is especially well-suited to sweetening drinks, fruits, salad dressings, yogurt and most creamy desserts.
