Description

Rare old variety high in natural oils. This delightful mint especially good for making tea as it is said to be stronger than the normal variety. It is a must for any herb garden just because it looks so pretty. Native to Tasmania so likes a sunny position. Recognised to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects. Amongst its many culinary Uses are: Great for making tea, and a welcome addition to salads. Good for flavouring sweets or ice-cream. Can be dried. Very invasive, plant in a container. All mints are loved by bees.
