Description
Rather spectacular member of the Ginger family. Tall, almost bamboo-like stems rise to 1.5m (5′) and bear huge flower heads up to 25cm (10′) long. These are a rich pink with darker centres and pistils. Prefers a semi shaded or sunny site for best results in a sheltered location.
