Gibasis ‘Jose Puig’, commonly known as Tahitian Bridal Veil or Bridal Veil Plant, is a delicate and charming form of this trailing perennial native to Mexico and Central America. This plant is prized for its cascading habit and dainty foliage, making it popular for hanging baskets and as a ground cover in frost-free areas. Typically, it grows to a height of 15-30 cm (6-12 inches) but can trail up to 60-90 cm (2-3 feet) in length.

The plant features small, oval-shaped leaves that are almost black with a green edge. The foliage grows densely along thin, wiry stems, creating a lush, billowing effect.
