Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Drooping Solo’ is a striking evergreen conifer with elegant, weeping foliage that creates a graceful architectural presence in the garden. This cultivar typically reaches a height of 1.5-2 metres with a spread of 1-1.5 metres, making it suitable for medium-sized gardens and large containers. The soft, thread-like foliage cascades downwards in pendulous sprays, displaying attractive blue-green colouration that provides year-round interest.

Culturally, this chamaecyparis thrives in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil in full sun to partial shade, though it performs best with good light.
