Description
Smooth roots with beautiful white flesh which does not discolour. Also known as Turnip Rooted Celery, it will add a delicious tangy taste to soups and stews. Season: Harvest October-December. Culture: Sow seed in March, treating the same as celery. Plant out in May/June, 30cm (12″) apart, in rows 45cm (1½’) apart. It is not necessary to plant in trenches. Maturing time approximately 30 weeks from sowing.
