Description
Calamagrostis’Cheju-Do’
Calamagrostis ‘Cheju-Do’ is a compact, elegant ornamental grass originating from Korea’s Cheju Island. Growing to around 60-80cm, it forms neat clumps of narrow, upright green leaves that create a graceful vertical accent in borders and naturalistic plantings. In summer, it produces airy panicles of soft, purplish-bronze flowers that rise above the foliage, later maturing to warm golden tones that persist into autumn, adding long-lasting structure and movement. Hardy and easy to grow, ‘Cheju-Do’ thrives in sun or light shade and well-drained soil. Its compact size makes it especially useful for smaller gardens, gravel plantings, or mixed perennial schemes..
