Description
An amazing Bergenia with fresh glossy mid green leaves, ageing to deepest purple in the winter. Large clusters of pretty pink flowers, which darken with age in mid-late spring. Prefers a moist but well drained site. As with most Bergenias they thrive in semi shaded sites and are grown as much for their attractive leaves as for their flowers. Height 40cm (1.3ft)
