Description
Another Allium for later flowering. Known as ‘Keeled Garlic or Witch’s Garlic’ this is a delicate looking bulb with clusters of pendulous white flowers borne on stems 20cm tall. Grass-like foliage adds to the attraction. Prefers a sunny well drained site and is suitable for alpine gardens, troughs etc. A native over a wide range of Europe from Spain to Sweden and the Baltic republics.
