Description
A large shrub with the leaves opening a deep purple-red then becoming green before turning scarlet in the autumn. Best in shelter and with well drained soil. Makes a good pot plant for the patio. One of the tougher maples in the group. Will quickly grow to 2m(6′) becoming slower.
