Persicaria microcephala ‘Silver Dragon’ is a striking perennial, grown as much for its bold foliage as its flowers. Its heart-shaped leaves are beautifully patterned with silver markings along the central vein, over red undertones thatcontrast beautifully against the deep green edges to create a dramatic effect. In late summer to autumn, small clusters of white button-like flowers appear, adding colour and charm. Vigorous yet well-behaved, it forms dense, bushy clumps that quickly fill space, reaching around 90-120cm tall.
