Bay Tree (Laurus nobilis)

The Bay Tree, native to the Mediterranean region, is an aromatic evergreen tree belonging to the Lauraceae family. The tree features leathery, glossy dark green leaves with wavy margins that release their distinctive fragrance when crushed.

This versatile plant thrives in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade positions. The plant is relatively slow-growing but long-lived, often surviving for several decades when properly maintained.
