Sarracenia hybrid H 395 ‘Camisole’ x ‘Jenny Helen’ 2

Description

Another lovely hybrid from this great cross. Pinker than its sister, again it soon forms large clumps of pale, dark pink veined pitchers with almost upright hoods. Certainly one of the nicest hybrids. Red flowers just seal the deal!!! Prefers a sunny site and, as with all Sarracenias, an acidic, nutrient free compost and soft water (rain water preferred) . A lovely form, one of our favourites. Height 30cm. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
