Saxifraga fortunei ‘Cherry Pie’

Description

Superb autumn flowering plants, good for shady moist yet well drained sites. This rather nice variety has delicate open sprays of starry deep pink flowers. These are held above mounds of waxy dark foliage adding the the attraction. Excellent as woodland plants where they will extend the flowering season almost until Christmas is the weather doesn’t get too frosty. Hardy and unusual – what more can you want. Height 20cm (8″)
