Description
A very tall beautiful hybrid, with yellow pitchers and veined hoods, inherited from both of its parents. Strangely mesmerising large yellow flowers are held high above emerging pitchers during the spring. A good garden worthy hardy hybrid. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill.
