Description
Oregano, similar to Marjoram (both from the same genus) is a somewhat slightly tender perennial herb or under shrub with sweet pine and citrus flavours. This one is cultivated for its golden curly aromatic leaves, either green or dry, for culinary purposes; the tops are cut as the plants begin to flower and are dried slowly in the shade. Oregano is used for seasoning soups, stews, dressings and sauces. Prefers a moister conditions than Marjoram
