This vigorous trailing plant forms extensive carpets of fresh green leaves bearing masses of rich lavender-blue flowers during spring and summer. grow in a well drained soil in part sun or shade. Height 20cm. Spreads slowly over an unlimited area. A virtually indestructible plant that will cover almost any site. A particularly good boldly variegated and large flowered form.
As a ground cover, it pairs well with other shade-loving plants such as Azaleas, Ferns, and Pieris, creating a lush and visually appealing woodland garden aesthetic.
