Description
One of the most beautiful of all the Japanese Acers, slender and upright with small, neat leaves, bright red in spring, becoming deep red through summer and finally turning bright scarlet red in autumn to give an almost columnar appearance. Prefers a lightly shaded position preferably in light shade. A magnificent plant suitable for both garden and container usage. Height and spread 4m (14′)
