Description
A very unusual Adrian Slack hybrid. Pitchers are white, veined with red, with patterning similar to S leucophylla. They have lovely beaked ‘Cobra-like’ hoods. Lovely wine red flowers are borne in spring. A good hardy hybrid. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. Efficient fly wasp catchers they grow in full sun in moist or wet acidic nutrient-less soils. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
