Primula are herbaceous or semi-evergreen perennials, forming a basal rosette of simple leaves, with salver-shaped or bell-shaped flowers which may be solitary or carried in an umbel or in whorls on an erect stem.
Chrysanthemum are at home in the traditional herbaceous border or any cottage garden. Preferring a sunny site in average to rich soil, they generally look after themselves. Most require no other attention, water when dry, feed occasionally. The range of Chrysanthemum colours, shapes, sizes and heights is almost infinite.
