An exciting and free flowering new species from Tamaulipas, Mexico. A new species discovered by the fabled Nick Macer around 2010. Large(ish) pink single flowers are borne late in the year and are liberally produced for us. Prefers a sunny sheltered site and winter frost protection. We have found it easy and beautiful. Height in excess of 1m (3').

A very unusual Dahlia with tall wispy stems that are topped with small single mid pink, yellow centred flowers during the summer and autumn months. Supposedly hardy in all but the hardest winters (according to Beth Chatto - although we haven't tried it here) it is a lovely addition to the autumn garden. Prefers a sunny site in moderate garden soil. Height 1.m (3'). A very cute plant.
