The Mexican Prickly Poppy as it is commonly called is an unusual annual for dry sunny sites. Very prickly stems, leaves and buds produce many delicate, almost silky pale yellow poppy-like flowers. Can get quite tall up to about 1m (3') tall. Easy and reliable in the right conditions. Allow to self seed or gather for starting in a protected environment.
