Description
(25 Seed minimum per packet, open pollinated) A superb compact Adrian Slack hybrid. Pitchers are dark red with a frilly red hood, all with bold veining. Spectacular flowers, held high, are borne in spring. A good hardy hybrid. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1″) of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth.Efficient fly wasp catchers they grow in full sun in moist or wet acidic nutrient-less soils. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
