Welcome t o Farmyard Nurseries web
site. The nursery specialises in a wide range of unusual plants especially
hellebores, herbaceous and perennial plants, shrubs and alpines. Set
in the rolling hills of West Wales, the nursery caters for the needs of the
discerning gardener who may like to visit or alternatively like to make use
of our mail order service.

The nursery - A brief glimpse of the nursery
Hellebores - we offer an extensive range of
orientalis hybrids bred primarily from Helen Ballard stock
Sown hellebore seed and
seedlings now available
Unusual Herbaceous - our nursery prides itself on
its range of unusual herbaceous plants
Tricyrtis and
Schizostylis - toad lilies and kaffir lilies, two more of our
specialities for autumn colour
Other Plants - in addition to the herbaceous plants
and hellebores we offer a full range of garden plants including shrubs, trees
and alpines
Our Garden - our own garden is open to the general
public under the National Garden Scheme
Mail Order - as well as welcoming visitors to our
nursery or retail outlet in Carmarthen, we operate a mail order facility

Farmyard nurseries are please to announce that they are now running the plant
centre at the National Botanic Garden of
Wales.
* Plants are still available from our nursery in Llandysul or our retail
