Farmyard Nurseries Gardens

In addition to the nursery visitors have the opportunity to wander through our own garden. An interesting one-acre site with woodland walks leading to natural water feature, sunken walled area, and several other topical places available for our customers to browse, in which can be seen growing a large selection of the plants we produce. Special attention has been given to large plantings of hellebores and other associated plants, for which the adjoining nursery is especially well known. A very tranquil garden with magnificent views.

Recent improvements to the garden have resulted in new shaded areas and the construction of several woodland walks, lined with hostas, ferns etc. and underplanted with drifts of spring bulbs.. This garden is open every day.

Donations to one of several charities are invited. Thanks.

Mrs B's Cottage garden

Set in one of the more tranquil parts of Wales, this is a fascinating secluded cottage garden. Winding stepped paths meander through an interesting range of herbaceous plants, to form quilted blocks of colour. The garden hosts a fine collection of old roses, shrubs and climbers, many unusual.

The two gardens combined provide a wide range of interests to visitors who are seeking inspiration for planting schemes.
